The Historical Society of Frankford since its founding in 1905 has endeavored to preserve and present the history and lore of Frankford and the surrounding area. To this end we hold 8 lectures per year, operate a museum of primarily local artifacts, and maintain a library housing archives dating to the area's earliest settlers. Additionally we partner with other community organizations in hosting events in our building and provide historic information to enrich their various activities. As a 501c3 non-profit, we have an open membership, and function solely through volunteer efforts.
Note: The above descriptive information came from the organization's About Us page.
