Center City East is a Center City neighborhood bounded on the north by Vine Street and the Ben Franklin Bridge, on the west by Broad Street, on the east by Columbus Boulevard, and on the south by Walnut Street, South 6th Street, and South Street.

Adjoining Neighborhoods

Center City East is adjoined on the north by Callowhill and Northern Liberties. On the east, it is across the Delaware River from the city of Camden in Camden County, New Jersey. Also on the east, a large section of this neighborhood is overlapped by Old City. On the southeast, it is overlapped by the entire neighborhood of Society Hill. It is adjoined on the south by Queen Village and Washington Square West and on the west by Center City West and City Hall.
