Inclusion Focused Coaching (IFC) gives the following descriptive information:

Dr. Pleet-Odle has been in the field of education for nearly five decades, with diverse experiences that she brings to her workshops and coaching. She has been an English, drama, and special education teacher, department chair, and district transition coordinator. In 1997, she joined the Maryland State Dept. of Education as the Transition Specialist, leading state efforts to include transition requirements in the IEP and school-based practices. In 2000, after completing her doctorate at George Washington Univ. in special education leadership, she was hired by Towson University, MD to develop their graduate special education program, earning tenure and Associate Professor rank. From 2006 to 2013, she served as the Secondary Inclusion Consultant at University of Delaware, providing support to administrators and faculty in 30 schools in 7 Delaware school systems. She uses professional coaching skills developed in 20 years of mentoring by Arthur Nierenberg, Executive Director of Breakthrough Disability, Inc. She is a certified Learning Focused Solutions trainer and SWIFT-FIT assessor. She has a reputation nationally and abroad for her effective interactive professional development and multiple publications on family engagement, secondary transition, and inclusive practices. As a parent of youths with disabilities, she awakens professional sensitivity to parent perspectives. Her new book (2016) is an integrated approach to school transformation, drawing on learning across her career.
