Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math

The goal of the Philadelphia STEM Ecosystem is to inspire ALL students to succeed in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) by drawing on the rich STEM resources of the Philadelphia region.

  • Workgroups are smaller collectives of Ecosystem members, tasked with defining specific goals related to STEM education in Philadelphia, and carrying out actions toward those goals.
  • Any member of the Ecosystem can volunteer to chair a workgroup based on an interest in addressing a specific need.
    • Workgroup chairs assemble a team of diverse stakeholders who have lived experience with the problem being tackled.
    • Together the group defines what success will look like and executes their plan.
