Center City East is a Philadelphia neighborhood bounded on the north by Vine Street and the Ben Franklin Bridge, on the west by Broad Street, on the east by Columbus Boulevard, and on the south by Walnut Street, South 6th Street, and South Street.

Adjoining Neighborhoods: Center City East adjoins Callowhill and Northern Liberties on the north. On the east, it is across the Delaware River from the city of Camden in Camden County, New Jersey. Also on the east, a large section of this neighborhood is also part of Old City. Center City East adjoins and Washington Square West on the south and Center City West on the west.
