Center City East is a Center City neighborhood bounded on the north by Vine Street and the Ben Franklin Bridge, on the west by Broad Street, on the east by Columbus Boulevard, and on the south by Walnut Street, South 6th Street, and South Street.

Adjoining Neighborhoods

Center City East adjoins Callowhill and Northern Liberties on the north. On the east, it is across the Delaware River from the city of Camden in Camden County, New Jersey. Also on the east, a large section of this neighborhood overlaps Old City. Center City East overlaps the entire neighborhood of Society Hill on the southeast, and it adjoins Queen Village and Washington Square West on the south and Center City West and City Hall on the west.
