About Our Chapter Citizens’ Climate Lobby is a nonprofit, nonpartisan, grassroots advocacy organization with the sole purpose of passing strong climate change legislation while empowering people to experience breakthroughs exercising their personal and political power. We are just one of hundreds of chapters across the world—including chapters in most Congressional districts in the US—working to create the political will for a livable world.

The Philadelphia Chapter is a group of local residents concerned about climate change, including small business owners, scientists, artists, lawyers, and doctors. We meet the second Saturday of each month at 11:30 to share lunch and discuss our chapter's ongoing work, and then call in to the monthly CCL international call at 1:00. Throughout the month, we maintain relationships with our members of Congress, publish letters to the editor in the Philadelphia Inquirer and other publications, and do outreach at local events and hearings.
