Friends of Farmworkers introduces itself with the line, "Working to improve the lives of Pennsylvania's low-wage workforce," and gives the following descriptive information:
Friends of Farmworkers provides direct legal services to:
- Low wage immigrant workers throughout the state of Pennsylvania, with focus on farmworkers, mushroom workers, food processing workers and landscapers.
- Income-eligible groups or organizations, where individuals members are eligible clients.
Friends of Farmworkers also provides community education, training and technical assistance to:
- Social Service Agencies.
- Legal Service Agencies and the Private Bar.
- Policymakers.
