Max Hess (born February, 1985) is a musician/writer/composer/computer repair technician currently residing in West Philadelphia. He was born and raised in York, PA, and moved to Philadelphia in July of 2011. He is best known for his music video collaboration with Dana Alexandra from October of 2010, titled "Decanter".

Musical career (1997 — Present)

Max was introduced to playing music in the summer of 1997, at the age of twelve, when his father bought him his first acoustic guitar. He played in numerous bands throughout his teens, fully finding his musical style in the now-defunct pop-punk band, Llewellyn. He went on to write several pop songs with musician friends as guest-lead vocalists, including Decanter, which jump-started his recognition as a songwriter. He has also written and scored numerous short piano pieces, orchestrated MIDI/"8-Bit" pieces, and produced a couple of Hip-Hop beats.

Computer repair (2005 — Present)

Max is currently the head repair technician in the Retail Repair Department at Nonprofit Technology Resources, and an on-site technician at Geeks On Site. Since moving to Philadelphia, Max has fixed over 300 PCs/Laptops in the Philadelphia and South Jersey areas. He has worked in the field since 2005 and has repaired more than 700 PCs and laptops in his career. He received Geeks On Site's Tech of the Month award in October 2011 (the company has hundreds of technicians across North and South America).
