2011 Descriptive Information
The following is what a Wikidelphia editor found and posted in 2011:
PhillyBurbs.com is the internet home for everything happening in the Philadelphia suburbs, from news to commerce to social events.
What started in 1998 as a central online location for our three newspapers -- the Bucks County Courier Times, Burlington County Times and Doylestown Intelligencer -- has grown into the largest suburban website in Southeastern Pennsylvania. We forged a partnership with Yahoo! in 2007, enabling us to further expand, grow and improve.
What started with one element of original content -- our popular "Fright File" Halloween extravaganza -- now features four special holiday sections; 18 guides ranging in subject matter from home improvement to pets to travel and tourism; and more than 10 different blogs covering pop culture, sports and politics on a local, national and global scale.
Our "Marketplace" directory serves consumers throughout the Philadelphia region and beyond, providing details and reviews of area businesses at the click of a mouse.
Simply put, phillyBurbs has it all, all in one place.
