Cultivating Interest and Support for the Arts

The West Philadelphia Cultural Alliance cultivates interest and support for the arts in West Philadelphia by increasing the visibility of the community’s cultural resources, encouraging the professional development of local artists, and promoting positive social change through the arts. In 2008, WPCA received Center support to preserve and restore the Paul Robeson House, the last residence of the African American artist and Civil Rights activist.
