*Philadelphia was a major city when the United States began. It served as the capital during the Revolutionary War. Phialdelphia was home to many important people, such as Benjamin Franklin, Edgar Allan Poe, Williard Christopher Smith, and many others.
*The city is known for having The Liberty Bell, one of the four national symbols. As of the census in 2010 Philadelphia is the fifth largest city in the country, by population. The city is divided by teo main streets, Broad street, and Market Street. At the center where these streets meet is city hall. Our public transportation company is Septa (South Eastern Transportation Authority).
* My city is filled with many landmarks that represent the history of Phialdelphia. We have Saint Peter's Ballistica, which I believe is the oldest church in the nation. The Declaration of Independence was signed here. This city has so much history in it that it is impossible to explain it all in one page. Phialdelphia has cafes, movie theaters, shopping malls, parks, gardens, and many different schools all in the city of Philadelphia. Our teams are the Phillies, the Eagles, our Flyers, and our Sixers.
