Of course we need to connect this idea of social isolation and health.

Problem

1) The negative... Social isolation is connected to declining health
2) The positive... People diet better when dieting with others. People exercising better when they are part of a community of exercisers. Even text reminders work but think how effective an actual neighbor would be
3) Social Isolation is getting worse despite twitter and facebook. Possibly because of the ease of becoming anonymous???
4) People need real geographic connections that are not easily broken
