This will be a list of the charitable non-profit organizations in Philadelphia.
Scope
There are around 30,000 non-profit organizations (NPO) in the Philadelphia area, of which around 5,000 are charitable. See NPO, charity, and 501(c)(3) for what these are.
Nonprofit Technology Resources is an example of a charitable NPO inside Philadelphia - it refurbishes donated personal computers for use by the needy and the NPOs that serve them.
The Internal Revenue Service will be reducing the number of NPOs that qualify for 501(c)(3) status, so this list may change.
