Since 1990, Beech Interplex, Inc. has successfully carried out its mission to revitalize the Cecil B. Moore community by promoting community empowerment, neighborhood revitalization, entrepreneurship and advocating for the need for housing rehabilitation and home ownership.

 Since 1990, Beech Interplex, Inc. has successfully carried out its mission to revitalize the Cecil B. Moore community by promoting community empowerment, neighborhood revitalization, entrepreneurship and advocating for the need for housing rehabilitation and home ownership.
-Community groups, city, state, public, and quasi-public agencies have joined forces during Beech's tenure to enhance the quality of life for the area we serve. As a convener, catalyst, community advocate and public liaison to many of these groups, we have continued our journey to empower this once neglected community.

This is extremely important and will help in addressing serious quality of life issues, such as physical improvements and security needs. In an effort to bring about positive change and to combat these issues, residents and business owners must play an active part in the renewal efforts. An open dialogue between the community, businesspersons, law enforcement and community leaders is essential in order to create change. The challenge is to create a shared commonality among the stakeholders who would otherwise not work cooperatively together.
