The CCP Creative Writing Club gives the following descriptive information:

The Creative Writing Club is a group of students serious and passionate about the art and craft of creative writing that meets weekly to share, workshop, criticize, and discuss literature, its forms, and its value. The club workshops students’ work including fiction, poetry, script/screenplay, and non-fiction (memoir/journalism) and is open to the community. Each semester, the group-funded by Student Life-participates in a wide variety of activities, including trips to writing conferences (AWP and Montgomery County Writer’s Conference, both in 2011). All are welcome, regardless of experience.
