The School District of Philadelphia's EAT.RIGHT.NOW. nutrition education program gives the following descriptive information:
The School District of Philadelphia’s EAT.RIGHT.NOW. Nutrition Education Program is a part of the Pennsylvania Nutrition Education TRACKS, a statewide program that provides Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program Education (SNAP-Ed) to individuals and families who are eligible to receive SNAP benefits. EAT.RIGHT.NOW provides free nutrition outreach programs and services to eligible Philadelphia school students, teachers, staff, administrators and caregivers. The EAT.RIGHT.NOW Program is based at both school and community sites, during school hours as well as after school, and involves nutrition education at various levels.

The School District of Philadelphia joins forces with many agencies aroiund the city to bring nutrition education into the classroom. Below is a list of our community partners.
