From the meeting Notes:

We don't yet have firm Vision or Mission statements yet (see below), with Stan coming closest to stating one with "A place for people to celebrate Philadelphia, to fill in gaps that exist in other media," and (by Stan in a sub-group) "More like a magazine written by everyone in the city." Emphasis was placed on capturing the dynamics of city life as opposed to being just an encyclopedia (a number of which already exist) (such as "first person stories" and "more personal" being desires).

NTR's Vision and mission statements

These are included as examples.

Vision

"NTR envisions Philadelphia as a city where all people, regardless of financial resources, have the skills, knowledge, and access to the information and communication technology they need to achieve their goals."

Mission

"NTR is committed to helping the people of Philadelphia, and the organizations that serve them, have access to and use of information and communication technology."
