'''Alice Alexander''' is led by designer and founder Mary Alice Duff. Frustrated with her own experiences shopping for high-quality, ethically-made, size-inclusive clothing, Mary Alice took up sewing as a way to improve her own wardrobe. Realizing she had a knack for blending fabrication, silhouette and fit, and getting compliments from strangers on a near daily basis, Mary Alice realized there was a business in her new hobby. While working full-time in the nonprofit sector Mary Alice enrolled in design classes to refine her craft and gain the skills necessary to launch the brand Alice Alexander.

Alice Alexander's Merino Wool Mock Neck.

We Make Every Garment to Order in Our Philadelphia Studio

Alice Alexander is a size-inclusive, ethically and sustainably made women's apparel brand. We’re on a mission to radically change the fashion industry to one that is inclusive of all bodies and is respectful of people and planet.

We are a vertically-integrated, direct-to-consumer company, where we design, pattern, cut and sew each item in our collection on a made-to-order basis. In other words, we make the clothes right here in the US and sell them directly to our customers. Working in this manner allows us to create clothing for women of every size and shape, using incredible materials, and working as sustainably as possible.

Launched in late 2017, we've since expanded to a team of five operating out of a combined showroom and production studio in Philadelphia.
