Mission Statement
Established in May of 2005 as a Pennsylvania 501(c)(3) not-for-profit corporation, Broad Street Ministry (“BSM”) is a broad-minded Christian community that cherishes creativity, fosters and nurtures artistic expression, extends inclusive hospitality and—works for a more just world through civic engagement.

Core Values
Spiritual Development: We believe God is dynamically at work in the life of every person. We aim to meet people where they are–to learn from their spiritual experiences and share ours. We seek to enhance the experience of God through worship, educational offerings and spiritual friendship.

Community
Situated at the nexus of Philadelphia's most divergent populations, BSM works hard to create common ground, practice radical and intentional inclusiveness, and encourage meaningful dialogue across societal divides.

Hospitality
BSM endeavors to a be a 'Cathedral' that welcomes, serves, shelters supports and befriends our community regardless of faith commitments or lack thereof. We attempt to provide our neighbors with the encouragement and resources that are needed to experience the flourishing God intends for everyone.
