This category, Does-Event Calendar, is a tag for groups & websites that offer things to do in or around Philadelphia. Some calendars list active-recreational events, some list entertainment, and many other calendars each list the events of just one organization. There are festivals and other real community events. Also, there are art events, workshops, course listings, and innovation events. This list has been building!

We are beginning to recognize two kinds of event calendars:

1. Postable - Event calendars that are open to receiving notices from others - often for specific types of events.
2. Non-Postable - Event calendars that only list an organization's own activities.
