Fitler Square is a Center City neighborhood bounded on the north by Walnut Street, on the east by South 21st Street, on the south by South Street, and on the west by the Schuylkill River.

Fitler Square is adjoined on the north by Center City West, on the east by Rittenhouse Square, on the southeast by Graduate Hospital, on the southeast and south by Southwest Center City, and on the southwest by Devil's Pocket. To the west, it is across the Schuylkill River from University City.
