Somerton is a Northeast Philadelphia neighborhood. It is bounded on the northeast by County Line Road, on the southeast by Carter Road, Southampton Road, the West Trenton Line, Byberry Road, and Roosevelt Boulevard, on the southwest by Red Lion Road, Bustleton Avenue, and Tomlinson Road, and on the northwest by a line that runs from Tomlinson Road to County Line Road and is bisected by the intersection of Philmont Avenue and Byberry Road.

Alternative Description: The Somerton Civic Association describes the neighborhood: "Somerton is a neighborhood in Northeast Philadelphia. Its boundaries might be debated, but the area bounded by Roosevelt Boulevard, Red Lion Road, and the Bucks and Montgomery County lines-- almost the same boundaries as those of Zip Code 19116-- is a fair approximation."

Adjoining Neighborhoods

Somerton is adjoined on the northeast by Feasterville-Trevose, Pennsylvania, and by Bensalem Township, Pennsylvania. On the southeast it is a short distance from Parkwood. It is adjoined on the southwest by Bustleton and on the northwest by Lower Moreland Township, Pennsylvania.
