Commercial

  • eForce Recycling: Electronic Waste Compliance: The Basics eforcecompliance.com/electronics.html
  • Philadelphia Sanitation Convenience Centers: accept E-waste, including computers, monitors, televisions, and other computer-related equipment. Here’s a list of the Philadelphia locations: Sanitation Convenience Centers
  • Staples accepts many electronics for free recycling. [1] Recycling: Start greening your office.

Security Note

In all cases the donor should either keep the donated computer's hard drive or ensure that the receiver will erase the data that is on that hard drive. One way is to separate the hard drives from the computers upon receipt, and to completely re-image them before any use.
