The Dornsife Center for Neighborhood Partnerships of Drexel University gives the following descriptive information:

The Dornsife Center is an active neighborhood center, hosting programs for adults, senior citizens, children, and youth in all three of its buildings both day and evening.

The Dornsife Center is dedicated to engagement in our neighborhood, offering enriching resources for a diverse community. At the Dornsife Center, Drexel provides resources and skilled training in order to develop a community of shared opportunity. We address the needs of our communities in a way that strengthens, empowers and educates, while maintaining a strong commitment to economic and social justice. Dornsife programs are offered in response to the needs and interests of the community, and will evolve as the Dornsife Center grows.

Program areas:

  • Creating Knowledge Together: We offer opportunities for neighborhood residents to collaborate on projects, classes and services.
  • Arts and Culture: From visual arts to dance, writing and spoken word, the Dornsife Center offers programming and opportunities to learn, develop, and share.
  • Health and Wellness: The Dornsife Center provides extensive community health and wellness services.
  • Building Your Financial Health: We support families by helping community members succeed in both employment and home ownership.
