The Independence Hall Association (IHA) was founded in 1942 to spearhead the creation of Independence National Historical Park. We are written into the enabling legislation of the Park and stand as an independent group of private concerned citizens overseeing and being consulted on matters concerning the Park.

  • We helped in the effort to reconstruct the Declaration House, we donated the statue of the Signer, standing across the street from the Independence Hall group of buildings, and we encouraged development of guidebooks for Philadelphia. (Read MORE Here)
