Making Democracy Work
The League of Women Voters is a nonpartisan political organization made up of women and men of all ages and backgrounds which encourages informed and active participation in government, works to increase understanding of major public policy issues, and influences public policy through education and advocacy.
The League accomplishes its mission by registering voters, holding debates and public forums, advocating for positions to influence public policy, and providing resources to help inform voters.
