City of Philadelphia List of Licensed Contractors
- If you are hiring contractors to work on a business or a home in Philadelphia, it is up to you to make sure that the contractors have met the licensing and/or registration requirements that apply to them.
- Contractors who work on commercial (business) property require Philadelphia licenses.
- Plumbers and electricians require Philadelphia licenses for work on commercial property and residential property (homes).
- Other types of contractors who work on residential properties may obtain Philadelphia licenses, but they are not required to do soaspx
