The Philadelphia Adult Literacy Alliance, a program of the Mayor's Commission on Literacy (MCOL), says it "brings together over 200 active members from the adult education community who provide, coordinate, fund, and support adult literacy and workforce development services."

It adds:

The mission of the Philadelphia Adult Literacy Alliance is to support the delivery of quality services to Philadelphia’s adult learners by offering professional development, encouraging collaboration and networking opportunities to adult literacy providers and professionals.

The Alliance meets quarterly and sponsors a year-long variety of opportunities to share and network in-between. We welcome individuals and organizations that are interested in joining The Philadelphia Adult Literacy Alliance.
