Note: This Template is a list of suggested categories for pages about nonprofit organizations, in order to help you remember all the categories that you may need to include on a nonprofit's page. Type "<nowiki>{{subst:NPO}}</nowiki>" into the page you're making, and all these categories will show up after you hit Save. Then you can go back in and delete the ones that don't apply. This note also appears, so you'll delete it, of course. Fill in the "blank"s with whatever applies to your subject, or delete.

Live and Let Live

The Mission of Philadelphia Anti-violence Coalition (PAVC) is to effectively facilitate collaboration among diverse grassroots organizations to empower the community to increase the peace in our neighborhoods through activism, education, prevention/intervention programs and effective policy advocacy. PAVC has developed a ten point program that will help reduce the ongoing causes of violence.

Note:  The above descriptive information came from the coalition's home page.
