A new article in Philadelphia Magazine details an ambitious project, set to take place across the city in March and April 2022. Funded by a Pew Center for Arts & Heritage grant, the Curtis Institute of Music and Drexel University’s Westphal College of Media Arts & Design team up with Ari Benjamin Meyers to explore how to bring Philadelphians together through musical rehearsal. One of four project modules, the Philadelphia Public Orchestra will reimagine how an ensemble can function and create, writes Victor Fiorillo.
