We Achieve
Our Work:
- Vision: Every child will have access to high-quality youth sports activities grounded in the principles of positive youth development.
- Mission: To dramatically enhance the capacity of youth-serving organizations in Philadelphia to provide high quality, sports-based youth development programs to children in every community.
Strengthening Organizations: By delivering support services both “on and off the field”, PYSC works to enhance the capacity of Philadelphia’s sports-based youth development organizations to provide high-quality services at a scale commensurate with community need.
Building a Movement: PYSC works to build collaborations, partnerships, and have a system-wide impact to advance and sustain the sports-based youth development sector in Philadelphia.
Advocacy: PYSC measures the impact of programming, working to demonstrate outcomes that will influence and drive favorable public policy for the sports-based youth development sector.
