The South Jersey Museum of American History gives the following description:
The Foundation was established in 1993 to preserve South Jersey's history and to exhibit it in connection with American History. In 1996, the South Jersey Museum of American History opened in Berlin, Camden County, NJ. Exactly 10 years later, the Museum moved to its present location in Glassboro, Gloucester County, NJ. We continue to focus on South Jersey's rich, historical heritage.
Exhibits
In October 2015, the museum listed the following apparently permanent exhibits:
- Precolumbian.
- Political History.
- Glass.
- Antique Tools and Equipment.
- Colonial and Pine Barrens.
- Farmstead.
