Proprietor Grant Collier with a Stax-o-Soap display.

Hi, my name is Grant Collier. I am 10 years old and live in West Norriton, PA (near Philadelphia). I have always wanted to start my own business, but I wasn’t sure what to make. When Coronavirus hit the United States, I saw that there was a need for more soap for people to wash their hands and stay healthy. I thought this could be a good way for me to start my first business and help people. And that is how I started my brand, Stax-o-Soap.

I also play ice hockey. This is my first year playing travel hockey for the Valley Forge Colonials. My goal is to help my parents pay for travel hockey this year with some of the money I make from my soap business. The rest of the money I make is going into a savings account for college, because I have a whole list of careers I want to pursue when I grow up.

All of my soaps are made with a goat’s milk, olive oil or shea butter soap base, fragrance oils, and a dab of dye to make them have a beautiful color and smell. Each soap is labeled with its scent and the type of soap base used to make it. The soaps are great to keep by the sink or use in the shower, especially with a loofah.
