The new Park at Penn’s Landing will connect the city to the heart of the waterfront.

The new Park at Penn’s Landing will be a 11.5-acre civic space stretching between Chestnut Street, Walnut Street, Front Street, and the Delaware River. The park will include a wide variety of activities and features, including flexible open space for performances and festivals; food and drink options; a new play area; a relocated RiverRink for ice skating in the Winter; and a water play area to cool off in the Summer. DRWC is currently conducting a city-wide effort to engage Philadelphians from all backgrounds and neighborhoods as we aim to make the New Park at Penn’s Landing a public space where people of all backgrounds feel genuinely welcome and safe.

Note:  The above descriptive information came from the park's home page.
