Making Philadelphia the City of Arborly Love

TreePhilly is a program of Philadelphia Parks & Recreation and Fairmount Park Conservancy, sponsored by TD Bank. We help Philadelphia residents plant and care for trees.

Launched in response to the Office of Sustainability's Greenworks Plan, TreePhilly strives to reach 30% tree canopy coverage in every Philadelphia neighborhood. We help local residents connect with the resources they need to plant and care for the Philadelphia urban forest.

  • Yard Trees:  Through our Community Yard Tree Giveaway Program, residents can get a free yard tree to plant on private property from the community partner in their neighborhood.
  • Street Trees: Philadelphia Parks & Recreation has planted and maintained street trees in the city for over 100 years! Find out how to get street trees in your neighborhood today!
  • Tree Keepers: Our seasonal maintenance crew works hard to beautify our neighborhood parks, playgrounds, and recreation centers. The TreeKeepers program also offers a pipeline to green careers by providing on-the-job training and education to crew members, some of whom are ex-offenders.
