Unity in the Community
Launched in 2009, Unity in the Community is a non-profit organization dedicated to changing the lives of others in the South Philadelphia area. For the past 4 years, we’ve planned and organized numerous philanthropic initiatives including the following: Ultimate Prom Experience, Thanksgiving Community Feast, Operation Holiday Help and a celebrity-packed summer concert and block party. In 2012, Unity in the Community kicked off its first-ever Peace Week; a weeks long of events to promote peace within the community.
Mission Statement: Unity in the Community is a non profit organization under the SOUL Food CDC umbrella, which is dedicated to changing the lives of others in Philadelphia.
