Breaking Barriers is the result of one man’s determination to apply the lessons of his own triumphant journey over tragedy. Many communities, in this country, face the challenges of youth violence, poor health habits and underachievement. His vision is to overcome the challenges faced by many communities in this country, such as youth violence, poor health and underachievement.
Since July 2005, Breaking Barriers has helped individuals achieve personal growth and foster community development though the sport of rowing and total body fitness training. As part of its mission to help young people develop healthy attitudes and practices toward themselves and their communities, Breaking Barriers conducts community outreach that offers training in physical fitness coupled with mentoring, team building, and community development activities.
