Philly Jesus is the character played by Michael Grant, who roams Philadelphia dressed in a robe with long hair and carrying a shepherd's cane. He identifies as a Christian believer and says he dresses up as Jesus in part to attract people to him in order to discuss the gospel. A former heroin addict, he attributes his recovery to his faith.
