This Wikidelphia help page is here to help editors alphabetize pages that start with the word "The" or other stuff that needs to be moved out of the way.

When entering a page whose title starts with the word "The" it is a good idea to include the following line above the text on the page. When pasting in this line, substitute the words that would cause the page to be properly alphabetized in place of the words Alpha Text in the sample below.

{{DEFAULTSORT:Alpha Text}}

When this is done, and a page shows up in a list of pages, it will not show up under "The."

Example: On a page titled "The Philadelphia Citizen," where the word "The" is part of the name, we can use the form: {{DEFAULTSORT:Philadelphia Citizen}} to force the page to be alphabetized among the "P's" instead of the "T's"
