Although we were completely disappointed, that experience sparked my inspiration. I have been painting all my life but it was something about the atmosphere and social setting that mesmerized me&mdash;I was in my zone. My best friend and cousin turned to me and said "Moneek, you should be doing this!" and I agreed.
