Parkway Center City Middle College gives the following descriptive information:

We are Philadelphia's first high school that will give scholars the opportunity to graduate with a high school diploma, an Associate's degree and up to two professional certifications!

Parkway Center City Middle College will offer traditionally underserved students an opportunity to complete a high school diploma and earn college credits at no cost to them or their families. Students will develop a commitment to learning, a capacity for critical thinking, an understanding of their future role as community leaders, and the academic and other skills necessary to achieve success while concurrently earning high school and college credits.

Community College of Philadelphia will serve as the chief partner in the implementation and operation of the middle college through the offering of summer bridge programming to orient incoming 9th grade students to the middle college, dual enrollment courses in summer bridge and the academic semesters (fall, spring, and summer 1 sessions), and ongoing professional development for faculty and staff.
