As of July 2012, Sarah works as the social media editor at NBC10 Philadelphia. She also produces independent journalism, specializing in photojournalism and videography for the web. Sarah is available to freelance the following services: photo (editorial / corporate / wedding / headshots / portraiture on location), video, social media management, writing and blogging.

Sarah earned a dual Bachelor of Arts degree in Photojournalism and African American Studies from Syracuse University and a Master of Arts degree in Communication Studies from Edinboro University of Pa. She studied at the SU London Photo Centre for a semester. Sarah is a trained still photojournalist who made the transition from still photography to video journalism in 2007.

She is a member of the National Association of Black Journalists, Philadelphia Association of Black Journalists, National Press Photographers Association, New Jersey Press Photographers Association, Online News Association, Philadelphia Black Public Relations Society and Lawnside Historical Society. Sarah’s a former three-term board member of NABJ. She teaches an advanced photography course at Burlington County College.
