Mount Zion Baptist Church of Holmesburg is located in the greater northeast section of Philadelphia, PA. Mount Zion was established in 1897 by Prophet Andrew Jones (a son of slaves - John and Nancy Jones) and a few men in a Stone Quarry located very near the church's current location.
