Northwest Village Network (NVN)
Northwest Village Network, formerly Mutual Mt. Airy
was founded in the fall of 2012 by a small group of friends and neighbors to explore the need in Mt. Airy and its environs for an organization that will enable “aging in community.” We started with the conviction that Mt. Airy already is fertile ground for what we are trying to grow.
Mission
Northwest Village Network is about aging in community: enhancing the quality of life in the Mt. Airy area through mutual aid, connections to services, connections to people, connections to mobility and access.
Vision
By helping each other, we enjoy resources and programs that enable sustainable and meaningful lives. By helping others, we add meaning and fulfillment to our lives while we strengthen the larger community.
