In August 2025 we checked this page's main URL and saw a notice, "Farewell and Keep Fighting! It is with immense gratitude and heavy hearts that we share the news that after 12 incredible years, ChickTech has closed its doors." So the following information is now history:

ChickTech Philadelphia is dedicated to retaining women in the technology workforce and increasing the number of women and girls pursuing technology-based careers. ChickTech is a multigenerational community of women & girls helping each other become technology creators. We facilitate hands-on technology-centric events to empower, support, and increase the confidence of women and girls.
Notes: ChickTech is based in Portland OR. In April 2024, the main URL of this page, which seemed to lead to a local branch of this organization, gave us a privacy error, and we couldn't find a substitute local link, so we substituted the national organization's URL. We don't know if the Philadelphia branch is still active.
