Promoting the use of technology in the arts.
We are located at 3645 Lancaster Ave, near the intersection of Powelton and Lancaster in University City/West Philadelphia. Our two storefronts (green and yellow/red) are right next to the Green Line Coffee shop on a beautiful tree-lined block steps away from Drexel and UPenn campuses.

Our goal is to empower people and give them a sense that technology can be a tool for personal expression. We want to reinforce the idea that our world is malleable – the devices and spaces we interact with everyday can be repurposed and modified to create new experiences.

Making things at The Hacktory.

Join the Maker Revolution Today

The Hacktory is a member supported community makerspace/hackerspace.

Lots of street parking is available (with quarters, some are non-metered). The 10 trolley runs right outside our door, and stops on the Market-Frankford line are a 5 minute walk away.
