Living In Germantown is a Facebook group that states the following aims:
- Catalytic, in that LiG encourages everyone: individuals, businesses and groups, to make commitments and honor them.
- Public, in that LiG facilitators are committed to sharing with the Germantown community and the wider public, commitments made by Germantowners, and the results of those commitments.
- A coming together of Germantown Pride and Passion!
- Committed to racial harmony, and to diversity.
- A beacon that shines on all the wonderful Germantowners who improve our community.
- A grassroots web connecting Germantowners who make commitments to make a more perfect Germantown.
- A resource for the community to use to forward and/or fulfill commitments.
