University City is a Philadelphia neighborhood bounded on the north by Powelton Avenue, Lancaster Avenue, North 34th Street, Cherry Street, North 32nd Street, John F. Kennedy Boulevard, and Arch Street. It is bounded on the east by the Schuylkill River, on the south by Grays Ferry Avenue, and on the west by South Melville Street, Woodland Avenue, South 40th Street, and North 40th Street.
