West Philadelphia is a multi-neighborhood area of Philadelphia. It is bounded on the east by the eastern edge of Fairmount Park, on the south by Grays Ferry Avenue, South Melville Street, Kingsessing Avenue, South 50th Street, and Baltimore Avenue (U.S. Route 13), on the southwest by Cobbs Creek, and on the northwest by City Avenue (U.S. Route 1).
